Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the hotel brought back nostalgic memories and offered enjoyable moments, especially with the stunning sea view from our room and the excellent dining experience. The staff was genuinely nice, making us feel welcome. However, the mattresses were old and uncomfortable, and the common areas could use a refresh to match the rest of the hotel's charm.
I had mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. The beautiful views were a real highlight, but the overall condition of the place left a lot to be desired. While I enjoyed the friendly interactions with staff, the service at times felt lacking, especially given the higher price point. Overall, it was not the ideal stay I was hoping for.
I had a lovely experience at The Grand Hotel, Swanage, where the breathtaking views and clean, comfortable rooms truly impressed me. The staff provided excellent service, making my stay special. However, I felt the dining options were somewhat limited, particularly the breakfast variety. Overall, it's a serene place with a great location by the beach, but it would be nice to see more exciting dining options.
I had a delightful stay overall, with a spacious room that offered stunning views of the bay. The breakfast was excellent, but I was disappointed by the bar meal on the second night, particularly the fish pie which didn't meet my expectations. The staff was friendly and made my experience enjoyable, making me eager to return.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the beach and sea. The rooms were clean, but they definitely need a bit of updating. The breakfast was decent, but service could be improved as there were long waits. Overall, it's charming in a faded glory way, but a complete refresh would make it truly grand.
